Why Royal Family KIDS?
Kids deserve a week that feels made just for them.
Western Kentucky Royal Family KIDS is a Christ-centered nonprofit serving children ages 7–11 who are in foster or kinship care, or who have experienced deep relational trauma.
Camp is intentionally full of the things childhood should hold: laughter, adventure, games, creativity, celebration, trusted adults, great food, meaningful gifts, and memories they can carry home with them.
Our heart is simple: every child who comes to camp should leave knowing they are seen,
valued, and deeply loved by God.

We don't want camp to feel ordinary. We want kids to laugh hard, try new things, be celebrated, and experience a week built around treating them royally.

2026 was Western Kentucky Royal Family KIDS' inaugural camp. It gave us the chance to see what happens when a community shows up to love kids intentionally for one unforgettable week.

2027 is coming.
We are preparing for another five-day Royal Family KIDS camp for children ages 7–11 across Western Kentucky. Camper applications will open in spring 2027.
The camp location remains private for the safety of our campers. Families will receive the information they need through the application and acceptance process.

Camper families
Who can attend camp?
Camp is designed for children ages 7–11 who are in foster care, kinship care, or who have experienced deep relational trauma. Applications are reviewed to help determine whether camp is an appropriate fit for each child.
When do 2027 camper applications open?
Camper applications are planned to open in spring 2027.
Where is camp?
Camp is held in Western Kentucky at a location that is not publicly disclosed for camper safety. Accepted families receive the transportation and drop-off information they need before camp.
How much does camp cost?
The camper registration fee is $10.
Volunteers
Do I have to work directly with campers?
No. Some volunteers serve directly with campers while many others make camp possible behind the scenes. There are roles involving activities, support, hospitality, logistics, and much more.
What should I do if I'm interested in 2027?
Submit the Volunteer interest form now. We'll use that information to keep you updated as the 2027 volunteer application and training process opens.

Where do donations go?
Western Kentucky Royal Family KIDS has no paid employees. Gifts help cover the real cost of camp: housing and feeding campers and support staff, activities and supplies, and the gifts and memories that help us treat every child royally.
